What is happening at Heyward School?

Heyward School has been pushed into being a private Academy in September 2008. The school was told that the LEA were co sponsors in the Academy which was slightly encouraging, but now they have been told this is not the case and they have not been told who the sponsors are, but "do not worry".

The only consultation so far that has been carried out with staff, students and parents is this, which has been stuck to a lamp post outside of the school:

 

Is this the way the Government teat the parents, students and staff of the school?

Staff are not happy and are trying their best to fight it.
