Here is your chance to formerly object to the imposition of an academy that is proposed to replace successful schools that are currently serving this community well.

We the undersigned wish to object to the imposition of an academy in place of our successful schools in Breightmet. We are asking the sponsors to withdraw and the Local Authority to re-examine alternative proposals that can redevelop both the school and the community. This can be achieved without the need for abandoning the existing Community and Local Authority governance or the successful schools that we already have.

It is unfair to impose this academy on the staff, pupils, parents and the local community without consultation, discussion or agreement.
